As most of you know I closed Creative Arts of Austin last year to meet my son’s ever changing needs from ASD to Epilepsy, the latter being a diagnosis that came when studio had only been open four months.
Greg Abbott, governor of Texas is disabled himself. My son Austin has been labeled disabled. According to my research Mr. Abbott sued the owners of the home where the tree fell on him and disabled him. He won $6,000,000-$10,000,000 depending on which article holds the truth According to the Dallas News he released this information himself in 2013. I look forward to the day I can look him in the eye and say, You thought being disabled deserved being compensated yet you don't allow my son the compensation he deserves for his Speech delay through Medicaid Disability. You don't allow him ABA therapy, which has been deemed crucial in an ASD diagnosis at an early age so I ask you this Mr. Abbott, should I sue God? Because the difference between you and Austin is he was born this way so where do I turn if unlike you I can not turn to another human for justice?
Until that day comes I ask you to please share this, donate and be part of Austin's tribe. We can show the system that I deem broken that the light will always prevail and God walks with all of us regardless of our random acts of unkindness he is a constant for all of us if we choose to see it. Please from a parent to a parent be the change in Austin's life! God bless!
