Today is silly book day. Tomorrow is read about a famous American day. Friday is our Book Character Parade. Students dress up as a book character and march in our parade. We love Buda Book Week!

We're celebrating dinosaurs in November. It's Dinovember!! We'll have trivia questions, makerspace activities and, of course, lots and lots of books. We'll be wearing our favorite dinosaur gear on Friday, November 19.

We’re excited to be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair October 18-22. Due to Covid restrictions this will be a “staff and student only” book fair. We will also have an online shopping option. https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bookfairs/cptoolkit/homepage.do?method=homepage&url=budaelementary



We will be offering the “e- wallet” option for shopping. You can give your child a safe, cashless way to shop the Book Fair. This digital payment option can be used at the in-school Book Fair or online at the Virtual Book Fair. Do be aware that you cannot remove funds from the e-wallet after the book fair. The money can be used for online shopping or future book fairs. Click on the link below to learn more.
