Celebration of growth was amazing. So much glitter but the kids deserved a huge celebration and we can’t wait to see them grow even more this year!

Tuesday is a student holiday and teacher workday, but we hope that you can show your support for our fellow Texas students and staff.

On Tuesday, September 6, 2022, Uvalde students will be returning to school for the first time since the tragic shooting that happened on May 24th at Robb Elementary School. Hays CISD joins other school districts around the state in standing with Uvalde. Wear maroon and white on September 6th to show solidarity.

Thank you CMC Recycling!

Buda Elementary School received a donation of $1000 and several school supplies from CMC Recycling. Whew- Happy First Day of School! We loved the sound of laughter, seeing sweet siblings seeing each other in the hallways, and getting lots of welcome back hugs from our Bulldogs! Rest up for day 2 and remember it’s a big transition from summer to school. Expect some tired kids, maybe a few more feelings, but mostly get ready to watch your student grow tremendously this year! Welcome back BES! 🐾
