Learning About Philanthropy in Crawford County! 💚

We were pleased to welcome members and mentors of the Community Foundation for Crawford County Youth Council to the Crawford Success Center! The students learned about the philanthropy that helped launch the Success Center and participated in a hands-on philanthropic activity.

The Youth Council introduces Crawford County students in grades 10–12 to philanthropy, endowments, and grantmaking while helping them understand how the Community Foundation and local nonprofit organizations work together to improve our community. Through the program, students also develop leadership, teamwork, and critical decision-making skills while making a positive impact on the needs of local youth.

It was wonderful to have these young community leaders at the Crawford Success Center and to share how philanthropy can turn generosity into lasting opportunities for others!
