The whole book of John has shown us Jesus‘s superiority to and sovereignty over the disciples in every way.  he knows all, sees all, and can do all. Yet, in John 13:1–5 He does something remarkable. He serves. When Jesus was washing the feet of the disciples, if someone had entered the room, they would never have known that the one washing the feet was the rabbi, teacher, Lord, and sovereign of the universe. Jesus was unrecognizable in that moment of service. Do you serve like Jesus did?

Do your plans ever go undone? Last Sunday, the plan was for pastor to preach this message about the plan of God. But those plans were put on hold when he came down with a bout of food poisoning. It just goes to show that even our best laid plans are often laid waste.
Join us this Sunday (Lord willing) as we discover an essential, yet challenging truth of Scripture in John 12:35-41.
In preparation read through John 12:35-41; Isaiah 6:1-10; and Jeremiah 18:1-6. These passages will help steer your minds towards Sunday's message themes.

Who do you glorify when things are good? Who do you blame when things are bad? We can learn a great lesson from Jesus whose whole desire was to do the Father's will and glorify His name, even when that meant going to the cross.

Come out and see us at the Bratwurst Festival. Starting at 3p each day, we will be giving out free bottled water and making balloon creations.
We praise the Lord for an opportunity to be a light for Christ in our community.

We are very grateful for our friends at the Bucyrus Fire Department for bringing out a truck for our VBS kids to engage with.
We praise the Lord for our local law-enforcement and first responders. What a blessing they are to our community.
Tonight is the last night of VBS. So come on out at 6p and help us finish off the week strong.

Vacation Bible School is August 2-6.
It is a firehouse themed VBS all about the rescuing power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Each night starts at 6pm.
