Yesterday's Spirit Week Theme was to dress for the 100th day of school like you were 100 years old. We had several students who participated across the school, but we were able to get a quick picture of this group of students in the hall! 🙂

Today was the 100th day of school at MLS! Congratulations to these three students who have had perfect ‘bell to bell’ attendance for all 100 days!! (PS… You will notice it was also ‘Dress like you are 100 years old’ day.. 😊 Stay tuned for another post and picture of that tomorrow!)

Miles Lane School celebrated World Read Aloud Day on Wednesday, February 4. Several guest readers from our community and district, along with some high school seniors came to read aloud to our students. It was a wonderful experience! Special thanks to all of our guest readers!!

PS.. Did you know that just 30 minutes of reading aloud a day helps your child acquire up to 2 MILLION new words per year? 😮📚
