Our food pantry partnership with Hannaford starts today! The Miles Lane School Food Pantry will receive $1 for every $2.50 reusable Hannaford Fight Hunger Bag sold during all of October at the Bucksport location!

Miles Lane School Food Pantry has been selected again as a nonprofit partner in the Hannaford Fight Hunger Bag Program.

This time, MLS will receive $1 for each $2.50 reusable Fight Hunger Bag sold throughout the month of October 2026 at the following Hannaford location(s):
53 US Route 1, Bucksport ME

Thank you to everyone who came out to Open House last night at the Miles Lane School, it was great to have so many students and families in the building and feel all of the energy of a new school year! If you missed the QR codes last night, please take a minute to fill out the survey below to help the district revise the RSU 25 Strategic Plan to reflect the values and priorities of our community. Join us for the Miles Lane School Open House tonight, August 26th from 5:00-6:00pm. Come meet your teacher, see all of the work they have done setting up your classroom, and get ready for an amazing year at MLS! As a reminder, the first day of school is next Monday, August 31st. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!

Young Bucks After School Care registrations are open and available.

Prior to starting we will need copy of immunizations and the child profile filled out on your YMCA account for your children.

Ms Cheryl and Ms Lexi are gearing up for another fun year and seeing the kiddos daily!!

We will be down at the Jewett school. So any MLS or 5th graders who need care will need to communicate with your school to get your child on a bus down to the Jewett School.
