Help Us Reach 100 PTA Members!

We’re getting SO close! Our PTA’s goal this year is 100 members, and we’re currently at 90!

If you haven’t joined yet, now is a great time! You don’t have to attend meetings or be an active volunteer to make a difference. Your membership dues help support all the amazing things our PTA does for our students and school throughout the year.

Every membership helps us provide fun experiences, activities, and support for our Rangers!

Meet Our Staff Monday:
Hi! I’m Taylor Gunderson, and I am so excited to be joining the Elk Ridge Elementary community as a 1st grade teacher! I’m thrilled to be back in the classroom after spending the past four years at home with my 2, 4, 6, and 7 year old children. I’ve spent 10 years working in schools, primarily in the Bethel School District.

Elk Ridge is especially meaningful to me because my two oldest children will be joining the school community as 1st and 2nd graders this year. Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, exploring farmers markets, sewing, embroidery, camping, and cheering on the Seahawks with my husband.

I’m looking forward to getting to know my students, their families, and the wonderful Elk Ridge community. I can’t wait for a fun year filled with learning, growth, and lots of first-grade adventures! 🍎📚

White River School District is committed to clear communication and a strong partnership with families as we work together to ensure students learn at high levels in a safe, positive, and supportive environment. We wanted to share important updates regarding ParentSquare and secondary progress reports.

ParentSquare is White River School District’s primary communication platform for communication between families, teachers, schools, and the district. Families have previously received information about ParentSquare and the option to register an account.

Registering allows you to customize how you receive communication, including email, text messages, and other notification preferences. If you choose not to register, you will still receive school and teacher communications through your email address on file.

When contacting a teacher or staff member, we ask families to use ParentSquare rather than attempting to email through Qmlativ (Skyward). In ParentSquare, you can simply search for the teacher or staff member’s name and send them a message directly.

Additional information and support are available on the White River School District website through the Parent/Family Guide. If you have questions or need assistance using ParentSquare, please reach out to your school. Our teams are happy to help.
