FIU (Faith International University)
KLS is a proud partner with FIU. We have an articulation agreement that allows KLS to be transferred into an accredited bachelor’s (BA) at FIU. The KCS partnership program is worth up to 45 credits toward a 180-credit BA.
KLS students will also receive a “missionary/partner” discount rate of 33% for Undergraduate through Graduate level degree plans at FIU. If you have any schooling prior to KCS, FIU will accept up to 135 quarter credits/90 semester credits toward an undergraduate degree program and up to 24 quarter credits/18 semester credits toward a graduate degree program (this would include the credits earned from KLS).
In addition to the 45 credits that can be earned from KLS, FIU has provided an accelerated pathway to earn an additional 70 credits by taking four special courses:
• Ministry Portfolio (one 5-credit class worth 20 credits)
• Academic Portfolio (one 5-credit class worth 20 credits)
• Old Testament Overview (one 5-credit class worth 15 credits)
• New Testament Overview (one 5-credit class worth 15 credits)
Students participating in KLS can pursue an online degree at the same time or after they have completed KLS. Federal Financial Aid & The Pell Grant are available to apply for once you have applied and been accepted as a student of FIU. Students who are enrolled with KLS and FIU at the same time can have a BA by the time they finish the two-year KLS program.
This is a truly accelerated and discounted learning opportunity because FIU believes in the work that KLS is doing to develop Kingdom-minded individuals who will make disciples of all nations.
