Two Buckhannon Academy students win state and regional Garden Club poetry contests Buckhannon Academy students Lynden Miller and Brandie Warner won first place in their grade levels in the West Virginia Garden Club poetry contest, then took top honors again across the five-state South Atlantic Region.

Wednesday:
**spring concert at 6 at WVWC chapel

Thursday:
**fifth grade graduation at 10 at chapel hill church

Friday:
**last day of school for students
**kindergarten awards at 9 at chapel hill church
**fourth grade awards at 10 at chapel hill church
**first grade awards at 11 at chapel hill church
**second grade awards at 12 at chapel hill church

You may choose to sign your student out from awards without an attendance penalty. We look forward to celebrating everyone this week!

Had the opportunity to treat the teachers/Staff goodies today for Teacher Appreciation Week at BAES, after that I headed to Hodgesville Elementary, students were treated to ice cream by the Women’s auxiliary VFW 3663. Thank you both for thinking of us and special thanks to Mrs Lewis and Brandon for trying to help me with a truck issue I had :)
