B-UMS Girls Soccer Tryouts are Monday August 10th - Tuesday August 11th from 6pm - 8pm! Please plan to attend both days.

B-UMS Boys Soccer Tryouts start Monday August 10th - Tuesday August 11th 2026 from 4pm - 6 pm! Please plan to attend both days.

B-UMS Volleyball tryouts Monday August 10th and Tuesday August 11th 8:00am-10:00am in the Gym.

If you would like to try out please make sure you have the physical form filled out and turned in to the coach before the start of practice. You will also need water, cleats, and shin guards that has the NOCSAE label.

Buckhannon-Upshur Students represent at NCWV Swim Championship

Everett Garver-Daniels & Lexcie Roy

Everett swims for Elkins Otters and Lexcie swims for Buckhannon Splashers, both B-UMS Students.

They were awarded the:

“Christopher R. Sprenger Award”

One swimmer on each team is given this award at the annual championship meet.

The award is given to a swimmer nominated by their coach who exemplifies the qualities of being an ideal teammate.

Key traits of the recipient include:

-Uncomplaining Attitude: Works hard and never complains about lane or event placement.

-Work Ethic: Tries their hardest during practices and meets, continuously striving to improve.

-Sportsmanship: Has fun while competing and consistently encourages their teammates.

B-UMS Girls soccer flex practice is cancelled Friday July 17, 2026 due to weather concerns.

Due to the weather, Boys Soccer Flex Practice has been canceled for this evening, Thursday, July 9, 2026.
