Every counselor has a story. For Quinn, hers began long before she entered the classroom.
Growing up, Quinn experienced challenges that shaped her understanding of what it means to need support. From a young age, she knew she wanted to be a helper for children facing struggles similar to her own. Today, she's turning those experiences into purpose.
Her journey is a reminder that some of the most compassionate counselors are those who understand firsthand the power of being seen and supported. We're proud to spotlight Quinn and the heart she brings to this work. π«π

In Appalachia, the need for mental health and addiction professionals continues to grow. That's why this work matters. Counselors provide support during life's most difficult moments, advocate for those who need a voice, and help people find hope, healing, and connection.
At West Virginia Wesleyan, we're preparing the next generation of counselors to meet that need with compassion and a commitment to serving others. π«β°οΈ
