One simple way to help children build vocabulary and reading comprehension is to discuss new words and ask questions about them.

For example, if you come across the word “enormous,” don’t just define it and move on!

🎨 How to make it:
Put the rock salt into baggies.
Add a little food coloring.
Shake, shake, shake! 🌈
Spread it out and let it dry.

⏰ It takes a little longer to dry than rice, but the result is so pretty!
