It is with sad hearts that we share the news of Mr. Chuck Maloley's passing on September 24.

Mr. Chuck was a fixture at Festival Foothills Elementary. He started his second career here in January 2008 when the school first opened, dedicating over 18 years to our campus in many different capacities. When he wasn’t voicing the daily announcements, he could often be found in the library checking out books and reminding students that "listening is a skill." From helping at lunch to serving as athletic director, Mr. Chuck truly loved serving the Festival Foothills community.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 10, at 1:00 PM in the Festival Foothills gym.

Thank you, Mr. Chuck.

🎉 5th–8th Graders: Get Involved! 🎉

Looking for a way to try something new, meet new people, and be part of something at school? Join a club! There are lots of ways to get involved this year:

📚 AR Book Club
🌱 Garden Club
🎭 Drama/Theater Club
✍️ Mythic Writers & Gamers Club
📖 Spanish Club
📸 Yearbook Club

And we are especially excited about the possibility of bringing a spring play to Festival Foothills this year through our Drama/Theater Club!

Please double check when the clubs meet. There are a few updates to the information that was sent home last week.

Students can also find the club sponsor names and room numbers posted on the information board in the D Building.

Student-athletes: You can absolutely be involved in a club, too! If you are interested in joining a club while participating in a sport, talk with the club sponsor to see how you can make it work with your schedule.
