🎉 Join Us for Holidays Around the World! 🌎✨
Tuesday, December 17th • 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

Tartesso families, get ready for an evening packed with culture, community, and holiday cheer! Each grade level has chosen a holiday from somewhere around the globe, and they’re excited to showcase their country’s traditions, fun facts, and festive spirit. Come explore and learn how different cultures celebrate this special time of year!

Before the event kicks off, we’ll also be hosting EL Night at 4:30 PM — a great opportunity for our English Learner families to connect, learn, and celebrate together. Everyone is welcome!

And don’t forget to swing by our Holiday Store, where students can pick out sweet, low-cost gifts for family members — a perfect way for them to experience the joy of giving.

📣 Calling All Volunteers! 🦃🏃‍♂️
Tartesso’s Turkey Trot is happening Thursday, November 20th during each grade level’s specials time, and we’d love your help!

We’re looking for volunteers to support stations throughout the day. While full-day coverage is wonderful, we are happy to work with ANY amount of time you can attend—even a short shift makes a big difference!

🍬 Candy Challenge Ends Tomorrow! 🍬

Families, our Candy Challenge wraps up tomorrow at 3:30 PM! So far, we’ve collected 75 lbs of candy toward our school goal of 693 lbs — the size of the largest pumpkin ever grown in Arizona! 🎃

Let’s see if we can get closer to that goal! All candy collected will be donated for the Trunk or Treat at the Sports Park tomorrow night.

And don’t forget — the winning class will get to choose the color Mr. Garcia dyes his hair! 💇‍♂️💥

Bring in those sweet donations and let’s finish strong, Tartesso! 🍭

​Our Scholastic Book Fair is coming soon, and we need YOUR help to make it a huge success for our students and teachers!
​We're looking for volunteers to assist during these times:
​Thursday: 11 AM - 5 PM
​Friday: 11 AM - 3 PM
​Want to know the best part? Our wonderful teachers will be creating "Wish Bins" filled with books they'd love for their classrooms. As a special thank you, for every shift you volunteer, you'll get to pick an item from a teacher's Wish Bin, purchased by our PTO! It's a fantastic way to support our teachers and get some great new books into our classrooms.

🎃🍬 Tartesso Elementary Candy Challenge! 🍬🎃

Tartesso Elementary is challenging our students, families, and community to collect candy & treats for our upcoming Trunk or Treat!

🏆 School-Wide Goal: Collect 693 lbs of candy/treats by October 24th

📍 Drop Off Location: TES Front Office
📅 Deadline: Friday, October 24th
🎉 Event: Trunk or Treat at Tartesso Sports Park on October 24th

All donations will support our Saddle Mountain Odyssey of the Mind team and will help make our Trunk or Treat night unforgettable for our students and community!
