"Dear Tartesso Middle School Families,
Thank you for joining us for Meet the Teacher Night. I was so excited to welcome our students and families to Tartesso Middle School, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to be there.
I also want to personally thank you for your patience. I recognize that the evening did not run as smoothly as I had hoped. As we opened our new middle school, there were challenges with our procedures, and I know many of you waited in long lines. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate the grace and understanding you showed throughout the evening.
Please know that I have already learned valuable lessons from this experience. I will be meeting with my leadership team to review the evening, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that next year's Meet the Teacher Night is much more organized and efficient. Your time is valuable, and I am committed to providing a better experience for our families.
To help make the first day of school as smooth as possible, every student will receive a newly reprinted schedule. If your child has any questions when they arrive on campus, staff members will be outside and throughout the building ready to help direct them to the correct classroom. Class lists will also be posted outside to help students locate their homeroom teacher. Once students arrive in their Block 1 classroom, their teacher will provide them with their updated schedule and answer any remaining questions.
I look forward to welcoming your children tomorrow morning! Breakfast begins at 7:45 a.m., school starts promptly at 8:00 a.m., and dismissal is at 4:00 p.m. My staff and I will be ready to greet your children with smiles and help them have a wonderful first day of school.
Thank you for partnering with me as we begin this exciting journey together. It is an honor to serve the students and families of Tartesso Middle School. I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student can learn, grow, and thrive.
I truly believe this is going to be an amazing school year. Together, we will learn, grow, and Do Big Things!
