Thanks to a partnership with the American Heart Association and the Berrien County Health Department you can check your blood pressure at the library! The self-serve kiosk will be here for the next month or so, but we also now have two blood pressure kits in our Library of Things. Stop in the library to learn more!

Our storytime friends had so much fun at the Buchanan City Fire Station today! Thank you Buchanan City Fire Department!

Ms. Julie would like to plan more field trips for storytime! Where do you think we should go? Any businesses or organizations out there that would like to host us and show our littlest patrons more about what you do? Let us know!

The weather is supposed to be sunny this weekend! While you're out tasting chili or checking out our new Art On Days installation, take a few moments to spot the scarecrows from our Scavenger Hunt and get some photos with your favorites!

Saturday, October 3 downtown Harvest Fest activities will last all day and include the Farmer's Market, sidewalk sales, dedication of Art on Days, kids activities, live music, Chili Walk, and pie eating contest. Check out Area Chamber of Commerce's page for more info!

BIG thank you to Keith Patterson, director of the documentary film Frontier to Freedom, for visiting our library last night for a screening and Q&A! Thanks as well to our local PBS station, WNIT, for helping us bring this program to Buchanan.
