You can't replace time in the classroom! While teachers can provide missed assignments, it’s impossible to recreate everything that happens during a live class period—from group work and demonstrations to real-time feedback. Be here, be engaged, and be successful!

⭐ National Principals Month: Week 3!

This week’s fun fact about Mr. Treadway: He has a favorite coffee mug that nobody else at home is allowed to use. ☕ We’ve never seen it at school, and we can only assume he’s afraid we’ll hide it! 😂

Here’s what our 2nd grade students had to say about him:

❤️ “He’s a nice principal and respects other people’s space.”

❤️ “He’s respectful and kind to us.”

❤️ “I like when he helps keep the school clean and safe.”

❤️ “He’s been the greatest principal these two school years.”

❤️ “He gives us high fives when we do good work.”

❤️ “He does nice stuff like draw with people.”

We think he’s pretty great, too!

Every day in class matters! Research shows that freshman attendance and grades are powerful predictors of high school graduation—even more so than eighth-grade test scores. Showing up today creates opportunities for tomorrow.

Be here. Be engaged. Be successful.

🎉 We’re back for another week of celebrating Mr. Treadway during National Principals Month!

Fun Fact: Mr. Treadway loves riding his Harley, so you might spot him out and about on two wheels instead of four!

When asked what they love about Mr. Treadway, our first graders had plenty of sweet things to say, along with a few that made us laugh!

💬 “He’s so nice to us.”
💬 “He gives me a thumbs up.”
💬 “He helps us clean up.”
💬 And at lunchtime? “He helps us stay alive—like not choke on stuff!”

One thing our students made sure to tell us is that Mr. Treadway has a nickname for everyone, including “Chicken Nugget!”

From the little things that make students smile to making sure they’re safe at lunch, it’s clear that Mr. Treadway makes our students feel cared for every day.

We’re resharing this sweet picture of Mr. Treadway with a group of our students from Orange Shirt Day! 🧡
