There will be a 200 question exemption test for Drivers Ed given on Saturday September 19th at 9AM at Swain County High School.

Any student who will be the age of 14 1/2 yrs old by this date is able to take this test. To register for this test, you will need to visit the wncdrivingschool.com website.

You must bring your chromebook to test day in order to be able to take the test. Please read all information for study materials and items needed for the test on the website.

*Make sure to have RIP FORM filled out prior. You can access this on the WNCDRIVINGSCHOOL.COM website under the STUDY MATERIALS/FORMS TAB.

School counselors are available to provide grief support and counseling services to any student or staff member in need.

What to Expect:

A presentation on recent Swain County Schools attendance data.

An overview of how daily attendance shapes academic success and long-term workforce readiness.

The official launch of the county-wide Swain Attendance Task Force.

Solving this challenge takes an entire community. Whether you want to join a task force committee, display a support window cling at your local business, sponsor student incentives, or simply share your insights, every voice matters at this table.

Light refreshments will be provided.
