Spectra Understanding the continuum of gender and sexuality, and how it relates to life on Bryn Mawr College's campus.

Spectra is a program hosted by the Pensby Center in order to reach out to students and facilitate conversations about gender and sexuality diversity. Spectra's goal is to serve as a resource and to host programming. The four cornerstone events that Spectra hosts focus on current students, including everyone from those who are out and q***r-identified to those who aren't quite sure what "q***r" means but would like to know more. Spectra seeks to facilitate conversations in which all voices are heard and valued. "Spectra" is the plural of spectrum, describing a model used frequently to represent a range of identities for gender, gender presentation, sexual orientation, and more. Our programs seek to include people from all ranges of these spectra, including those who do not identify within them.
