This year, we had the honor of awarding Amir Moye the 2026 Guiding Light Character Scholarship in collaboration with CITRS. Amir represented what this scholarship is about: character, leadership, hard work, and the potential to make an impact.

Now, we’re looking for the next recipient. 👀🎓

If you are a high school senior graduating in 2027, this could be YOUR opportunity.

The 2027 Guiding Light Character Scholarship application opens October 16, 2026.

We want to hear about your character, your journey, your accomplishments, and the impact you are making in your community. Don’t count yourself out. You may be the next Guiding Light scholarship recipient.

Application Opens: October 16, 2026

Be ready. Be intentional. And remember…

Be the light always. ✨

👀 Sometimes the best reminders show up when you least expect them. We spotted this on recent travels and had to stop for a video.

Character isn’t built in big moments. It’s built in small, daily choices to put others first, speak up when it’s hard, and do the right thing when no one is watching.

Which are you working on this week? 🍊

October's virtue of the month: Integrity. 🍊

It's honesty, responsibility, keeping your word, strength, morality, and uprightness, all showing up in the choices we make when no one is watching.

This month, let's notice the small moments where we can do the right thing, even when it's hard. 🤝

We recently met with the Glassboro Character Council to map out character integration for the 2026-2027 school year.🍊

The goal is to positively shape every part of a student’s school experience.✨

Thank you to the council for your commitment to the students of Glassboro!

We partnered with Pitman School District to create character-focused posters that will hang in every classroom! 😍

They highlight the district’s core values: Honesty, Empathy, Accountability, Respect, and Tenacity. H.E.A.R.T. 🧡

Small, daily reminders of who we can choose to be.

Character vocabulary: Wisdom✨

This month’s virtue is Wisdom, and Brendan breaks down what it really means. Wisdom isn’t just about being smart, it’s about seeing the bigger picture and drawing on life experience and perspective to make truly informed choices.

The people we turn to for advice in life? They’re usually the ones with wisdom. That’s what makes it one of the best traits to develop.

What’s a piece of wisdom someone has passed on to you? ⬇️

Great golf, perfect weather, and a community that continues to show up for character! 🍊

Character is built one act of generosity at a time, and you all delivered in a big way. Thank you to every golfer, sponsor, and supporter who made the 12th Annual CITRS Open one for the books!

See you next year! ⛳️

September kicks off our Virtue of the Month cycle! 🎉

This month: Wisdom.

Wisdom isn’t just knowing things, it’s knowing what to do with what you know. Wisdom turns information into good decisions, and this month, we’re leaning into it!
