We're proud to launch "Shaping Her Future: The Campaign for Sacred Heart Academy", a multi-year effort to strengthen the Sacred Heart experience for our students and our school.

And we’re beginning with something very special: Randy Rogers Memorial Field - named in memory of Coach Randy Rogers P’02, ’04, a beloved coach, mentor, parent and friend to Sacred Heart.

We're deeply grateful to the Rogers Family, whose generous leadership gift in Randy’s memory is helping make this exciting project a reality.

And this is only the beginning!

Congratulations to Saoirse K. '30 on competing at the 2026 AAU Junior Olympic Games this month, where she set a new personal record in the high jump, placed among the top 20 athletes nationally in her age group in javelin, and earned an AAU Academic Award recognizing her achievements in the classroom.

A lifelong member of the SHA community, Carolyn Curran Slota '81, P’08 has dedicated decades to serving others through countless organizations, schools, charities, and the arts. From her early volunteer work as an SHA student to 21 years supporting Drama Club and Spring Musicals at SHA, Carolyn has always found meaningful ways to give her time and talents to others.

We are proud to recognize Carolyn as our 2026 Goal 3: Service Award recipient. ❤️

161 years ago today, Sacred Heart Academy appeared in the pages of The Daily Age. ❤️

On August 15, 1865, this announcement shared the news that the “Ladies of the Sacred Heart” intended to open a day school for young ladies on Walnut Street in Philadelphia.

The address has changed, but the heart of SHA has remained the same. For 161 years, generations of girls have been educated in the Sacred Heart tradition, growing in faith, intellect, and purpose.

We're pleased to invite our alumnae, families and friends to a truly special day in the life of our school. On Friday, September 11, we'll gather for our annual Mass of the Holy Spirit during which Robin Nolan will be installed as Head of School. Together, we'll ask the Holy Spirit to guide and bless the 2026-27 school year as we continue our mission of educating and empowering young women. Guests are encouraged to wear red in keeping with our cherished Mass of the Holy Spirit tradition. ❤️🕊️

College Bootcamp was in full swing! 🎓❤️

Over the past two weeks, the Class of 2027 has been hard at work preparing for the college application process. Students refined their college essays, began completing their applications with the guidance of Mr. Paynter, and heard directly from college admissions representatives who offered valuable feedback and insight.

And the best part? A few members of the Class of 2027 have already officially submitted their applications! 👏
