in Creative Writing program supports writers as they embark upon their careers as poets, short fiction, creative non-fiction, and novel writers, with workshops and courses designed to help both established and emerging writers generate and revise work, sharpen their knowledge and practice of craft, and develop critical reading and editing skills. world as teachers, readers, presenters, bloggers, workshop leaders, writing group members, literary journal submission readers and editors, panel moderators, reviewers, published authors, and all the other various roles writers take on in the contemporary writing community. In partnership with the M.A. in Publishing programs, the M.F.A. in Creative Writing offers writers numerous electives and concentrations and the opportunity to work closely with faculty in each of the programs.
