Summer Music Programs Summer Music Programs is an award-winning music camp that allows 11 to 17-year-old musicians to play in a band, record a CD, and perform in a concert.

Summer Music Programs is an award-winning music camp that was founded in 1993 to give young musicians an opportunity to meet and play with other musicians. A member of our staff works full-time with each band as they:
• Pick and learn songs — of their own choosing! We encourage our campers to play the music they want to play.
• Prepare for their recording session in a professional studio.
• Rehearse for their live performance in the weekly concert.
• Receive an audio CD of their studio session - a first for many kids. Rehearsals are held on-campus in air conditioned dorm rooms and recording sessions are held at state-of-the-art, award winning studios. Concerts are held on Friday afternoons (Day Program) and Friday evenings (Overnite Program.) Meals are served in the college cafeteria. Summer Music Programs is located on the beautiful and historic Harcum College campus, just minutes outside of Philadelphia. CONTACT US:

SMP would like to share sad news that Art Noel, our only sound guy, for as long as we existed, has passed. Art ran sound at all the Love Park Concerts, all the Harcum Klien Hall concerts, and we even recorded at his studio in Germantown in our early years. I found a picture where he wasn't hiding under his standard Phillies cap.
