This past weekend our school hosted an event where students, families, board members and teachers were able to get together to welcome Spring. We want to give a special Thank you to John Chin, Executive Director of the Philadelphia Chinatown Development Corporation for taking time out of his schedule to talk to our families about the work PCDC does for the Asian community. The presentation was very informative and many families were passionate about the topics that were discussed. Our students were also able to practice their Cantonese during our mini pop up store, where they negotiated sales prices and bought trinkets from each other. Our older students helped sell raffle tickets and also exercised and demonstrated some skillful negotiating tactics in Cantonese. We can't wait for our next in person event.
Do you want to learn Cantonese or just need a refresher course in Cantonese? We are now accepting enrollment for our Spring/Summer semester which runs through June, virtually. We are also accepting enrollment for our upcoming Fall/Winter 2023-2024 semesters. If you would like to try a free virtual sit in on one of our classes, please feel free to message us to set one up.
