Tools 4 Life Summer Camp

Tools 4 Life Summer Camp Tools 4 Life is a career and life skills camp designed to help teenagers gain the tools and confiden Tools 4 Life Camp will be held July 13-19, 2014.

Tools 4 Life is open to incoming high school juniors and seniors. The camp offers seven days of activities and workshops in a rich environment of mentoring, personal growth and networking for life. During camp, we hold workshops and activities on campus, and also visit nearby colleges and take a career day trip. Campers are housed in dormitories and meals are included. Camp Activities
College

campus visit to one or two area colleges – In the past we have visited Penn, Temple, Princeton, Monmouth, Haverford, Rutgers, Gettysburg
Off Campus Career Day – In the past we have visited places like The New York Times with Neil Genzlinger, Presbyterian Hospital with Mehmet Oz, Architecture with David Hotson
Community Service 1/2 Day – usually working with kids in need
Dinner/date night
Recreational outing – Past outings have included Cirque du Soleil, Dave & Busters, Broadway shows, the New Jersey shore, hiking at Jim Thorpe, tubing down the Delaware, and attending a Riversharks baseball game

Dear Community,

Today, we, my counselors and I, volunteered at a community garden connected to the Trenton Soup Kitchen. This place is magnificent. People of low or no income can come pick their own fresh fruit and vegetables. 63 of us worked for 2 1/2 hours. Lucky for us - luck for them!

Tonight we had our counselor training and kick off dinner Chopped Style. Love this crew. Cheers to 2023 T4L!!!

You have a career you love and want to share it with the younger generation? LET ME KNOW!
On Thursday, June 29th we have the Networking Event at Cairnwood from 730 - 830pm for Tools4Life. The kids (16-18 year olds) will have a formal dinner learning about etiquette, networking and the importance of first impressions. Afterwards they will get a chance to put what they learn to practice. That's where YOU come in...730 pm I will let you all introduce yourselves, then open the event for networking.
In past years I have had an overwhelming amount of professionals show up. After the pandemic it's pretty quiet. Please if you are interested let me know and I will put you on the list.
