St. Mary's Bryantown http://www.bryantown.org/ St. Mary's is a Pre-Kindergarten 3 Year Olds through 8th grade school serving between 230-260 students.

We offer a comprehensive and challenging curriculum. In addition to the core content courses, we offer Religion, Art, Music, Physical Education, Spanish, Computer Technology and Media Curriculum. We also have Accelerated Reading and Math which is available to all of our students. We also offer instrumental band, choir, hand bells, drama, DI (Destination Imagination), SeaPerch (Underwater Robitics)

, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs. We offer a sports program in volleyball, soccer, basketball, softball, and track along with the other Catholic schools in the area. Mary's has been providing an excellent, Catholic education for over 105 years to the students of Bryantown and surrounding areas.

Today we honor St. Cyril of Jerusalem, a faithful bishop and Doctor of the Church known for his powerful teachings and defense of the Christian faith. 🙏📖

Through his famous Catechetical Lectures, he helped guide new believers and deepen understanding of the sacraments, especially the Eucharist. 🍞✨ His courage during times of conflict reminds us to stand firm in truth with humility and grace. 💪🕊️

Today we celebrate Saint Patrick, the beloved patron saint of Ireland, whose faith, courage, and missionary spirit helped bring the light of Christ to an entire nation.

Tradition tells us he used the three-leaf shamrock to teach about the Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 💚

Mayor Jeannine James from the Town of LaPlata visited our 4th graders to share about her leadership and role as Mayor. The students loved learning about how local government works and how leaders help their communities! 👩‍💼🌟

Our 4th graders also participated in the Maryland Municipal League’s “If I Were Mayor” Essay Contest. Each student wrote about a special tradition they would create if they were Mayor and how it would positively impact their community. 📝💡

Today we remember St. John de Brébeuf, a Jesuit missionary who traveled from France to Canada in the 1600s to share the Gospel with the Huron people. Known for his courage, humility, and deep faith, he dedicated his life to serving others and learning their language and culture so he could better share Christ’s message of love.

St. John de Brébeuf is remembered as one of the North American Martyrs, giving his life for his faith in 1649. His witness reminds us of the power of perseverance, sacrifice, and trusting God even in the most difficult moments. ✝️

Yesterday’s snowfall transformed our campus into something truly breathtaking. Blanketed in fresh snow, every path, tree, and building looked like a peaceful winter painting. 🌨️🤍

Moments like these remind us how beautiful and serene God’s creation can be, a quiet pause in the middle of a busy season. Our campus truly was a vision in white, and we’re grateful to experience such beauty together. ☃️
