Mountain View Christian Academy is an Alabama Dept. of Human Resources certified, Licensed and Inspected Preschool. We maintain a high level of expectation for our teachers and staff, as well as parents and students. Payscale begins at $10. Flexible and able to be imaginative and crafty is a must.
Classroom management skills for watching 1-4 yr olds.
Experience with small children in a Sunday School or preschool setting is very helpful.
Must be 19 yrs old or older
Must be able to pass a background check, TB test, CPR classes, and able to complete training classes online.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
MUST HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $10.00 per hour

We are gearing up for a great month of March at Mountain View Christian Academy!

It all begins next week as we celebrate Dr. Seuss with Wacky Dress Up Days!

Monday the 4th is Red, White and Blue Day.
Tuesday the 5th is Crazy Hair Day.
Wednesday the 6th is Wacky Wednesday with a special VBS style chapel event.
Thursday the 7th is Thing One and Thing Two Day (Twin Day).
Friday the 8th is Green Eggs and Ham Day (Green Day).
The Paperpie Book Fair is coming March 11th through 15th! This time the book fair features special Easter items along with the Kane Miller books, Usborne books, Learning Wrap-Ups, and SmartLab Toys! Our previous book fair was very successful and we are looking forward to a great event this time as well.

TerraNova Standardized testing will be held March 18th through 22nd. Make sure you children get plenty of rest and eat well those days. 11th and 12 graders do not need to attend that week.

Spring Break is March 25th to April 1st. Students return April 2nd. Math Teacher Tanner Green will be speaking at chapel on April 3rd!

MVCA will delay opening on 1/10/24 due to the weather. Preschool and Grade school will open at 10 AM Eastern. We will continue to monitor the weather and road safety for future updates.

Dear MVCA Families,

I write to wish you a very Merry Christmas and share with you some great news for the season. During today's special Christmas chapel service five students committed their lives to Christ for the first time! To us, this is continued evidence that God is doing something special and powerful here at MVCA. We appreciate your continued prayers and support as we pursue God's mission here. We exist to provide an excellent education and lead students to grow in Christ! We are truly seeing God accomplish that mission in us this Christmas season.
