Mission: In a safe and nurturing environment, the Bryant School District -- in close partnership with family and community -- will motivate, challenge, and educate our students through a variety of individualized instructional methods and diverse learning experiences to become lifelong learners who will have the foundation to achieve a higher quality of life and to contribute positively to society.

Operating as usual

Bryant Public Schools

We love our Teachers at Hill Farm Elementary.

#SafetySaturday: Students, parents, bus drivers, and other motorists all play a key role in school bus safety. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has some great school bus safety information on their website. Check out their tips for staying safe at the bus stop at http://ow.ly/DMsK50BbEgB. #FlashingRedKidsAhead

Flashing Red Lights means students are getting on or off the bus. It is illegal to pass a bus from ANY direction when the red lights are flashing. Make safety a top priority. #FlashingRedKidsAhead

[08/24/20]   Happy 1st day of school to all of our Teachers, Staff, and Students. We hope you all have a great day.

Here is the link to the virtual open house.

Whether blended or virtual, we are so excited to welcome ALL of our Hornets back to school!

Our schools have been working hard to create a unique online open house experience. Each school has developed a Virtual Open House to help prepare you and your student for the first day of school on Monday. Together, we will be #LearningReady.

Parents this is a new pick up procedure for Hill Farm students.

Elementary schools will have new procedures for afternoon car pickup. Schools will be using the Curb Smart system to manage car lines while helping students stay safe. To maintain social distancing and keep groups together, students will stay in their classrooms rather than wait in front of the school.

Parents will be assigned a number to be displayed on a car tag. Staff members will digitally input the number, which will automatically post to screens in each classroom. Students will then be escorted to the waiting vehicle.

We expect the new process to be much faster, more efficient, and safer for our Hornets.

Parents (Grades 1-5) should pick up new car tags at their zoned school on Thursday, August 20 from 12-4pm. Each school will message specifics for pickup.

Kindergarten parents will receive car tags on Monday or Tuesday during assessment.

Questions? Please contact your school.

We need nurses!

Bryant Public Schools seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to work on a temporary, independent contractor basis to assist the school district’s COVID-19 point of contact efforts. The selected independent contractor must possess a current, active license from the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. Applications due by Monday, August 20. [07/27/20]   Reminder to pick your yearbooks up tomorrow 10-2. Please stay in your vehicle and our pto will bring it out to you.

If you are unable to pick your yearbooks up you can pick them up through our office Monday - Friday 8-3:30

[07/24/20]   The Bryant School Board meeting tonight was quite lengthy. Much time was spent on child and staff safety and requirements. First, let me say that the District will push out more information soon, so please please please don't ask us any questions. I'm just letting you know what was approved tonight.

We, the PTO, don't have any control over it and we're not the ones to complain to or try to explain why things are the way they are.

If you have questions, please reach out to your Bryant School Board member. There's a member for each zone. If you're at Hill Farm, you're most likely either Zone 2 or Zone 3...here's a link to the School Board Members. https://www.bryantschools.org/page/board-of-education

Long story short, Pre-K through 12th grade students are required to wear a mask when proper social distancing can't be achieved.

This also includes all staff, teachers, etc.... The only exceptions will be people with special needs or medical requirements and only then with a Doctors written approval to not wear a mask. Here's a link to the draft of the resolution that was passed tonight. Once a resolution is passed...it's the same as a district policy. https://simbli.eboardsolutions.com/Meetings/Attachment.aspx?S=36030000&AID=23670&MID=894

If you ask a question, we're most likely going to refer you back to your School Board Member.

All yearbooks are in!
I want to thank all of our families for their patience we know our situation has been less than ideal.
Our yearbook staff will be at the school for Distribution
Monday and Tuesday 10-2.

*If you have not purchased a yearbook we are going to have all extra yearbooks up for sale AFTER TUESDAY in our office this will be on a first come first serve basis. Extras are very limited they will be $25

Hey, Parents!! We know you are like us and have a million questions about school but here is one we can answer for you.....you will NOT have to buy school supplies. Our PTO raised money this year to supply them for you. There are a few things you will need to provide:

Headphones
Backpack
Water bottle (water fountains won’t be open per CDC guidelines)

This is for all Hill Farm students, whether on campus or virtual.

Yearbooks have arrived at our school, however we had a big chunk of them that were misprinted by the company. We had to get the misprinted ones redone, they should be coming in any day. As soon as we receive enough to ensure that everyone who ordered a yearbook gets one we will post the times available for pickup. We know everyone is eagerly awaiting to pick them up and we appreciate your patience so much!

If you did not order a yearbook for this year there very limited amount left over. You will be able to purchase a yearbook through our drive thru distribution. First come first serve.

[07/23/20]   We had our first PTO Board Member meeting for the upcoming school year today and we're all looking forward to a great year at Hill Farm Elementary. There will be changes and announcements coming in the future, and we'll do our best to keep you all updated. Please be patient. As soon as the information is available, we'll get it posted. Right now, things are still changing from day to day, and plenty more will change before school starts. It's definitely going to be different, but it will be great. We look forward to seeing everybody soon.

Gov. Hutchinson announced that districts will now begin school the week of August 24 (but no later than the Aug. 26). Once the new start date has been approved for our district, Bryant Schools will publish a revised 2020-21 school calendar.

[07/07/20]   Parents, there have been lots of questions regarding our Hill Farm yearbooks. They have arrived, but our offices are closed until the middle of July. Once our office opens, we will sort them and schedule a distribution day for everyone to pick them up. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this unknown time.

Happy Fourth of July to all our families!!
