Bryant High School Combined Class Reunion was created for the 1970-1979 Classes with information shared here. We don't know if another one will be planned.
Operating as usual
[04/21/21] Is it Spring yet?
[04/15/21] Has everyone who wants to be vaccinated, been vaccinated? COVID 19 has really been a pain for everyone. So sorry if you lost a loved one from it. Thankfully on two family members got it, a mild case and they lived 6 hours away.
[03/01/21] Mrs. Joyce Hammond > ? spelling of her last name - is turning 90 in March. If you would like to send this former teacher a Birthday Card, private message her daughter Debbie Hammond Goble and she will give you her address.
Many of you may know that Ray Smith, Kirby Smith & Sharon Smith Short's mother, Wanda Smith, passed away recently. Mrs. Smith was not only the parent of three of our class members, she was a longtime teacher, office worker at the school, and valuable city employee, even serving as the mayor for a while. She was an encourager and friend to so many. Your class officers and reunion planners have come up with two ideas to honor Mrs. Smith by making gifts to the school. If we have enough interest, and collect enough money, we might possibly be able to do both:
1) A much needed check printer to be used by the high school business students.
2) A tree that would be planted on the high school campus with a plaque stating that it was donated in her memory by our class (and others who want to be involved).
If you would like to help with this worthwhile project, please contribute in one of these ways:
Venmo - Blenda-Koder Cash App $BlendaKoder1 Apple Pay
Checks: Mail to 3407 Lincoln Ave, Alexander, AR 72002
Please feel free to share this idea with members of other classes, and when contributing, let us know the year you graduated.
Thanks, and please take care of yourselves until we can get together again!
[12/30/20] Happy New Year!!
[12/07/20] I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. Remember the Reason For The Season! J E S U S
[09/02/20] Hope Everyone is Staying Healthy!
[08/26/20] It's been a crazy few months with COVID 19, but I think about all the people whom I was friends with who came to the Reunion. I also think about all those that did not come and hope everyone is healthy. Stay well!
[07/15/20] I PRAY all are staying healthy and none get COVID19!! Wear those masks out in public, wash your hands often, and use hand sanitizer!! I think the Governor is not making it mandatory YET!
[06/23/20] For those of you who have been in Saline County for a while and went to Bryant High School around the Class of 1973, I have some sad news. A member of the Class of 1973, LeeAnn (Watson) Bennett has passed away. Arrangements are pending.
[03/12/20] I just saw on FB where Rick Keating, Jeff Keating and Jan (Keating) Ortman's mom, Julia Mae (Green) Keating has passed away. Keep this family in your prayers.
[03/05/20] I know of two people who have died recently. Class of 1972 lost Glen Frazier. He has several siblings who were older and some younger. I am not sure what class he was in but, Obid Jackson also died. Pray for these families!
[11/14/19] Football Season over and Basketball Begins at Bryant, right?
[11/05/19] Several years of classes might know him but I wanted to let you all know that Roger Dobbins has died. I do not know the arrangements.
[10/08/19] I hope these temperatures are here to stay for a while and not teasing us with it.
[09/17/19] Maybe by the weekend, we will have cooler temperatures, with rain (which we need) and Fall will be on its way!
[09/10/19] Anybody else ready for cooler temperatures?? I am ready for the real Fall: bonfires, wiener roast, smores, etc.
[09/04/19] Is it Fall yet? I am ready for cooler temperatures. Bonfires, Roasting Wieners & Marshmallows is my kind of night.

[06/13/19] Hope everyone survived the flooding we had and are now enjoying these cooler temperatures with low humidity!
[04/25/19] Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine when we have it, all of the green things that the rain helps produce and especially the flowers! Happy Spring!
[03/07/19] Who's the Class that will have their 50th Reunion this year? The Class of 1969!! So that means The Class of 1970 will have graduated 49 years ago this year. Are y'all doing anything special this year?
