We can't truly begin our summer break without recognizing and congratulating our very own, Mrs. Gramlich, for earning Bryant Teacher of the Year!
She is a shining example of everything our program stands for. Mrs. Gramlich is a mentor, a leader, and an advocate for colleagues and students. We couldn't be more proud to have her represent our district!

All on their own, the ESOL Language Academy students at Bryant Junior High made this video presentation to honor their teachers at the end of the year. They requested a meeting to present the video to their teachers. What a surprise!
One student even made a certificate for her ESOL teacher for being the “Best ESOL Teacher Ever.” These students are as good as gold! We wish them all a fantastic summer! ☀️

An important element of ELD is to connect the language learned to the real world. Students at Parkway didn't just connect the dots; they brought their unit to life by creating and sharing after being inspired by the story Stone Soup! Everyone loved it!

Students at BES worked hard in their ELD groups this year. There was a lot of reading and writing, but there was a whole lot of talking! Some of our groups were able to work with middle school students. They loved it! We can't wait to see what they accomplish next year!

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. This month is about recognizing and celebrating the history, culture, and contributions of these communities in the United States.
At BES, some students helped to create the AAPI display by adding elements associated with some of the recognized countries. All students can see some familiar faces of widely known celebrities from these communities, as well as read about a few of their local celebrities on campus.
