Mother/daughter paint night. So much fun!!
Lily had a great time at mother/daughter paint night!🎨
Is the PTO involved with the goodwill donations for BES? What is the process for donating and where do I take them?
Hi! I'm Mary! I'm an Area Rep for International Student Exchange. We have exchange students from all over waiting to come here to study in a local high school! Host families are needed for August! If you love culture, language, and have the heart for travel and teens, this is a great opportunity for your family! Can't travel? Have a country come to you! Message me for more details.
Where can I find the link to buy tickets for the Father/daughter dance?

We are here to help assist and support our students, teachers, staff, and parents of Bryant Elementary School...

The Revised 2020-2021 School Year Calendar was approved tonight...
https://5il.co/h9x0

Deadline is today to change from blended to virtual!

DEADLINE TODAY: In late June, a survey was sent asking parents to choose between Blended (Onsite) and Virtual (Online) learning. The survey closed on July 5.

With the recent decision by Gov. Hutchinson to push back the start of school until August 24 and the rise in COVID-19 positive cases, many parents have inquired about changing their student's learning option to Virtual for this fall.

This survey allows parents the option to enroll their student in Virtual (Online) learning for the fall semester.

The ONLY parents who need to complete this survey are:
* Parents who want to CHANGE from Blended (Onsite) to Virtual (Online) learning.
* Parents who DID NOT complete the June survey and want to sign up for Virtual (Online) learning.

FILL OUT ONE SURVEY PER STUDENT. (If you have three students, you will need to complete the survey three times, one for each child.) The survey is open from July 13-19. Deadline is SUNDAY, JULY 19 at midnight.

We have created a Frequently Asked Questions document which provides additional information: Visit bryantschools.org for more information.

IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE A VIRTUAL LEARNING SURVEY RESPONSE FOR EACH ONE OF YOUR STUDENTS, THEN YOUR CHILD WILL BE SIGNED UP FOR BLENDED LEARNING (ONSITE LEARNING) IN THE FALL.

BES parents, check out these updates from our PTO President, Rikki Turner. She attended a meeting with district admin and these are the highlights. Also, you will not have to buy school supplies but check out our PTO page for a list of items your child will need.

PTO officers had a meeting with the Superintendent Thursday. Here are the highlights.

Hey, Parents!! We know you are like us and have a million questions about school but here is one we can answer for you.....you will NOT have to buy school supplies. Our PTO raises money each year to supply them for you. We give teachers an amount per kid and they go and buy everything for your child. There are a few things you will need to provide:

Headphones
Backpack
Lunchbox (if you are sending a lunch)
Water bottle (water fountains won’t be open per CDC guidelines but we have a water bottle filling station we can refill from)

We look forward to working with you this year as always!

Congratulations to our 2020 Teacher of the Year......Mrs. Hill. She puts in countless hours working to assure her kids are cared for and challenged academically. We are thankful she is part of our BES family!

Do you have an incoming Kindergartner? The link to register will be posted on the Bryant Schools website Monday morning. If you have a current BES student their enrollment rolls over for the next school year.

A HUGE shoutout to our AMAZING BRYANT FIRE DEPARTMENT!! The Chief rode with our BES teacher parade for an hour and 45 minutes!! He was so sweet and wanted to make the kids smile! Thank you, Bryant FD and Chief Jordan! You are the best!!

We are so excited for the teacher parade on Wednesday. I have included some highlighted maps so you can check your area to see our planned route. I have no idea on times for each neighborhood but we will start at 1 in Richardson Place and then proceed down the list of neighborhoods on the flyer. We may not get to the last few neighborhoods until 2 or later. We will honk and let you know we are coming!

On Wednesday, April 1st, beginning at 1:00 pm, the BES faculty and staff will be driving around to as many neighborhoods as possible and would love to see your smiling faces waving back to us! Check out the image below to see where we will be.

[03/13/20]   You’re home. You’re bored. You just bought groceries.
Those box tops aren’t going to count themselves 🤣

We will have a hat day to raise money for Hunger Heroes this Thursday. Bring a dollar and you can wear a hat!

One last HUGE thank you to a few more teachers that helped me so much last night. Dana Waters and Chaley Holland worked so hard at the refreshment table, it was the popular place to be! Mrs. Waters even danced while she served. Jessica Abbott Pilkington took pictures for the yearbook and helped wherever it was needed. Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. Moseley, Mrs. Long, Mr. Scarlett and several moms helped in various ways, too. Finally, the clean up crew of Mrs. Holland and Ms. Pilkington were life savers! There is no way one person can pull off such a big event and I’m thankful for those that are willing to help make this night special for our girls. -Lindsey Hartsell

Snowflake Ball 2020

[02/23/20]   What a night!! Check out the conga line! Snowflake Ball 2020

We are all set for tonight! See you at 4. Please plan on entering through the cafeteria doors. A huge thanks to Mrs. West, our balloon arch creator extraordinaire, Mrs. Moseley, our decorator extraordinaire, and Mrs. Taylor, our photo booth creator extraordinaire! I, also, appreciate the help of several other teachers, Ms. Papacek, Mrs. Menard, Mrs. Holland, and our assistant principal, Mrs. Long! We also had Mrs. O’Roarke help us with balloons and put up with us crazy teachers this morning! So thankful for the help to make a wonderful memory for our girls! We can’t wait to see all of our gorgeous BES girls tonight!

[02/22/20]   We can NOT wait to see everyone tonight from 4-6 for the Snowflake Ball. You need to park in the big parking lot in front of the cafeteria (where the car line goes). If you paid, but your child did not bring home a ticket, there will be a list at the door, so no worries! See you tonight!

The big week is finally here!!! All tickets must be purchased by Wednesday. If you are in need of a scholarship just let us know and we will be glad to take care of that (email [email protected]). We also have several dresses in the office, if you need a dress just stop by. You can pay by check sent in to the office or PayPal [email protected] or Venmo @BESHornetPTO. Also, if you are willing to volunteer to help with the event, please comment here and I’ll be in contact with you.

We are proud of BES’ own, Teagan Phillips, for being chosen as THV’s Arkansan of the Day. Teagan is a Hunger Hero for the AR Food Bank. She also volunteers her weekends at the LR Animal Village playing with the animals while they wait for adoption. We are so proud of her volunteerism! Way to go, Teagan!
