All Blinn Paralegal program instructors are lawyers or judges and hold doctoral degrees. Paralegals are the top assistants to lawyers and are key members of the legal team. They work in private law firms and many areas of government and business. The program also provides a foundation of knowledge and skills, should the student decide to continue their education on a path toward law school. Studen

ts can pursue a classroom-intense track on our campus, an online-intense track, or a combination. Students also can also choose to take "live online" classes, where they can interact with their instructors and classmates from home.

He was not only an outstanding professor with an incredible depth of legal knowledge, but he also had a genuine passion for teaching and helping his students succeed. His classes were engaging, practical, and left a lasting impact on my understanding of family law. What I remember most, however, was his kindness and willingness to help beyond the classroom. Whenever I needed guidance, Mr. Drummond took the time to offer advice and support. He truly cared about his students, and that compassion made a difference in my life. Through Blinn College Foundation, we are working to endow a scholarship for the Paralegal Program to honor Phil Banks, who was a leader in our legal and local communities for more than a generation, taught many of our Paralegal students at Blinn, and always was a supporter of our educational efforts. He passed away in 2022. Would appreciate your consideration to donate in support of this scholarship for our future students and/or spreading the word to others about how to donate.
