Massive congratulations to Mandi Barker for winning High School Teacher of the Year from the Brazos Valley Educator's Society. This award is such a well-deserved recognition for the incredible energy, countless hours, and heart she pours into her students every single day. Educators like her truly shape the future and make our schools a better place to be.

We also want to give a shout out to Parker Knutson on winning the BVES's Professional Staff of the Year award. Parker assists MC Harris with CTE and our eSports team.

Today is the first day of summer school. Teachers are in the building 8:00 am - 3:00 pm (Monday - Thursday). If you do not come to summer school, you can continue to work on your EDGE. You will need to come to school to have your tests unlocked. Let us know if you have any questions.

Blinn College came by this afternoon to help our students fill out applications for post secondary schools. Ms. Gimbert and Ms. Easley were very helpful in helping students to navigate the next steps to start school after high school.

Calling all Class of 2026 graduates - Grad walks at elementary campuses are Tuesday, May 19th beginning at 7:30 am.

On Tuesday night some of our students were awarded scholarships for their post secondary schools. We are proud of each of them and wish them the best of luck.

Anthony Garcia - Career and Technology Recruiter from Blinn College came today to talk to students about career opportunities for post secondary success. He talked about job opportunities, grants, scholarships and many other future endeavors If you have questions you can see Ms. Carpenter in the Go Center.
