Buffalo GED Registration - please read the flyer
August 24 at 9:00 am

To enroll, please bring:
TX ID or Driver's License (not limited-term and not expired)
AND to prove U.S. Work Authorization, your Social Security Card
The program will need copies of these documents and MUST have them to register students.

Age Eligibility Requirements for 16–18-Year-Olds:
16-year-olds only with a court order, a withdrawal form from the last school attended, and parent/guardian permission.
17–18-year-olds with a withdrawal form and parent/guardian permission.

Important Notes:
Parents or guardians must attend the registration process with the students who are 16, 17, or 18.
We serve adult learners 16-years-old and older.
Please arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes early.
Latecomers will not be admitted once registration begins.

Interested Students Must:
Complete enrollment paperwork and take tests on a computer
Live in one of the following Texas counties: Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson, or Washington

Have other IDs or U.S. Work Authorizations:

General Carpentry Graduation – Today at 9:00 am!

Region 6 is pleased to celebrate the achievements of our General Carpentry Graduates with Brazos Valley Council of Governments and Bryan ISD.

The General Carpentry Class was working on basic stair layout for NCCER at the Bryan Adult Learning Center.

To lay out a basic set of stairs according to NCCER, the following terms are important: total rise, unit rise (riser), unit run (tread), total run, and stringer. NCCER Carpentry Curriculum relies on basic arithmetic, ratios, and the Pythagorean theorem to calculate even step heights, horizontal depths, and diagonal stringer lengths.
