There are some things that make a school look beautiful, and then there are things that make a school feel like home. ❤️

We are so thankful for our amazing PTO and the love they continue to pour into Sam Houston Elementary. These murals have completely transformed our entrance and created a space that tells a story about who we are and what it means to be a Raven.

The tribute to Charlie makes this project especially meaningful. I know this space will become the backdrop for so many special memories over the years. What a beautiful way for our students and families to walk through our doors each day.

A huge thank you to our PTO, our sponsors, Fastsigns, and local artist Shane Scofield of White Horse Artistry for bringing this vision to life. And how special that Shane was a Raven himself!

We are so lucky to have a PTO that believes in our school and continues to find ways to make Houston a special place for our kids and families. Thank you for making our entrance feel even more like home.

Mark your calendars! The first day of school is almost here, and we can't wait to welcome our students back to Bryan ISD! The excitement begins with our Meet the Teacher and campus welcome events.

• Elementary Meet the Teacher: Monday, August 10
• Intermediate Meet the Teacher: Thursday, August 6
• Middle School Schedule Pickup: Wednesday, August 5
• Rudder High School Walk the Building: Tuesday, August 11
• Bryan High School Chromebook & ID Pickup (10th & 12th Grades): Thursday, August 6
