This year’s Brazos Valley Jazz Society Jazzfest will feature the Lone Star All – Star Band, and include performances by the Brazos Christian School Jazz Band, vocalist Haley Brumbaugh, and the Brazos Valley Big Band. The Austin-based Lone Star All Star Band features Sparky Thomason (trumpet), Tom Brechtlein (drums), Andre Hayward (trombone), Benjamin Irom (piano), and David Craig (bass). Members of the group have performed with jazz greats Chick Corea, Wayne Shorter, Al DeMeola, and Dizzie Gillespie.
This annual event brings together jazz enthusiasts from all over to enjoy incredible music and a vibrant atmosphere. The Brazos Valley Jazzfest is a celebration of talent and creativity, showcasing both established jazz artists and up-and-coming performers. From smooth melodies to upbeat rhythms, this festival offers something for every music lover.
