Out of 56 of the best gymnasts in the nation in her age division, Ty finished 12th with a huge all-around score — and we could not be more proud.

Ty reached the pinnacle of the Development Program after devoting the last 14 years to this sport. She represented Thunder Elite, the BCS area, Texas, and Region 3 with excellence, heart, and pride.

Although her time with us is coming to a close, her journey is far from over. Ty will continue her gymnastics career at the University of Pittsburgh on a Division I full athletic scholarship, and we know she will do amazing things.

Ty, your coaches have loved every experience, every challenge, every celebration, and every step of this ride with you. You are an outstanding example in and out of the gym, and you truly represent what Thunder Elite is all about: hard work, determination, resilience, and fun.

We know you will go on to do BIG things at Pitt.

There is so much to be said about Cyclones. As we depart for Orlando today to compete at D2 Summit, I hope these girls get what they have worked for. This season has been so enjoyable….if only it could last forever. We have 4 seniors that will be finishing their “final climb” this weekend and I can’t wait to watch them take the mat one last time. The loyalty and work ethic these girls have shown is unmatched and they deserve a fairytale ending. Last one…best one.💙💛🌀. Game over.
