Summer Bucket Lists were fun to fill out!! These students have some great goals to relax 💆🏼‍♂️💆🏽‍♀️, go swimming 🏊‍♀️ , hit a home run ⚾️ 🥎 sleep in🛏️ 💤 , and to read a book or two 📕 📘!

We had an incredible two days last week building roller coasters! Mrs. Bosco prepped the students with information on force, motion, acceleration, and the scientific process of problem solving—-and then we let them “go”! 🚦We had some great (and thrilling) (often scary) roller coaster designs built! 🎢 🎢

Voting results for winners were announced today!! ⭐️ 🏆

We also learned about what scientists consider the “food of the future”…BUGS. 🦗 🐛 Excellent protein source, low carb, and fantastic on the carbon footprint for 🌎!

🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽We had an amazing day celebrating Cinco de Mayo with our “cinco” grade students!! 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽

💚🤍❤️The students have learned about the history of Cinco de Mayo, what it is, and what it is not! Ask your student!💚🤍❤️

🥑🥑We learned about some of the cultural traditions in Mexico, and were excited to make guacamole! Students made their own guacamole, and then wrote their own recipe (practicing writing procedural text). Students also worked their way through several stations to practice colors and numbers in Spanish.

We are thankful to Mrs. Rezendiz, our ESL coordinator, who came in to give us more information and learn even more!
