We are excited to start another school year highlighting our amazing students, phenomenal teachers, and excellent programs! This past year Bryan ISD was designated a 2026 Best Community for Music Education by The NAMM Foundation, an Art District of Distinction by Texas Art Education Association, and an Outstanding District for Theatre by the Texas Educational Theatre Association. We are extremely proud of our teachers and students and can't want to see what they do next!

What a gift it is to have a community that supports our students and programs. This is just one of the many ways that our community supports us and we are incredibly thankful!

From Promise to Progress! We are grateful for a community that continues to support Bryan ISD. With a strong foundation of trust, we look forward to sharing how bond funding is turning promises into progress.

The latest update is the arrival of the new Bryan High School band trailer. It was delivered on Saturday during the band banquet, giving students the special opportunity to be the first to see this exciting addition.

With the flexibility of the hybrid model, your students can be a part of our fine arts programs - whether they are in person or virtual students!

Now launching: Bryan ISD Virtual Academy.

Bryan ISD is excited to introduce a new, tuition-free virtual learning option for students in grades 3–12 who thrive in a non-traditional setting. Beginning in August 2026, the Virtual Academy will offer a rigorous online education with two flexible pathways: Full-Time Virtual [grades 3-12] and Full-Time Hybrid [grades 7-12] (a blend of virtual and in-person learning). Out-of-district transfers are also welcome.

Students will have access to advanced academic courses while staying connected to the full Bryan ISD experience through extracurricular opportunities like athletics, fine arts, CTE, and student organizations.

Admission is based on a review of prior academic records, including grades and STAAR performance. Students requiring specialized services will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Apply today to secure your spot for the upcoming school year. Space is limited.
