Last year, A Better Glynn spent a day helping families register their children for school and guiding them through the tools that keep them informed about student progress and school events. We also began helping parents navigate the challenges of parent-teacher conferences, where language barriers can sometimes make communication difficult, especially when a child is facing significant academic or social challenges such as , / , , and other learning or behavioral differences.
In February, during our three-part *Equity Experience* series on **The Preschool-to-Prison Pipeline**, we recognized the need for a more permanent and visible service in this area. As a result, the Cavalry for A Better Glynn began the process of launching our **Student Advocacy Team**.
Join us as we partner with the Brunswick Housing Authority to officially launch this important resource for students, parents, teachers, and administrators. We will be at **1200 Albany Street**, across from Glynn Academy, helping parents with ParentSquare and Infinite Campus registration and usage. We will also be providing our SPED Resource Guide and information about student advocacy services.
