Autism Resource Day Program, Respite Care. 800 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 404-909-9475 Often times, we are not sure where to begin.
About Us
Our journey began in 2000 while working for the Gwinnett School System. An opportunity came to facilitate a sweet 5 year old boy with special needs to
transition into a general population classroom setting. With ABA and floor time training through the Gwinnett County School System and over 14 years of experience, here we are today. We continue to do what we love
the best, supporting indiv
iduals with special needs to discover their abilities to become more independent and reach their full potential. Daily Living Skills
Our program covers many
aspects of home and community
functions. Teaching skills which
will allow individuals to live
independently at home or in
their community settings. Our focus:
• Cooking a meal using simple recipes
• Using a computer or newspaper to find out what’s going on in our community
• Organizing household chores
• Choosing appropriate clothing for daily activities and expected weather
• Washing/drying clothes
• Shopping for groceries at the local market
• Learning money management skills
Life Skills
We all want to live productive and meaningful lives. One thing for sure is certain, to accomplish anything in life and realize our full
potential, we must have life skills. Individuals will be given opportunities to find out who they are and identify their goals in life. Social
