Golden Isles Riding Academy Golden Isles Riding Academy is a family-oriented full service stable, conveniently located off Highway 82 in Brunswick. Just 4 miles from I-95 exit 29.

Here at Golden Isles Riding Academy our goal is to provide a safe and fun environment for horse lovers of all ages. Kelli Jordan, owner, began riding at age five and earned three world championship titles during her junior career. She attended William Woods University under a full equestrian scholarship and then furthered her skills with notable trainers from New Jersey to Florida before opening Golden Isles Riding Academy. Here at Golden Isles Riding Academy we teach horseback riding that develops equestrian skills, but more importantly our riders learn responsibility, build self-confidence and develop sportmanship skills that last a lifetime. We offer lessons that provide expert instruction for beginners to seasoned show riders with a focus on safety first. Throughout the year we offer a variety of camps that coincide with school holidays. During the summer months we provide amazing weekly camps. Need a beautiful location to throw your next party. From graduation, end of summer, spring flings, to costume or holiday parties, bridal showers, to bar-b-ques. Any kind of party, we have the perfect beautiful open area for you and your friends. There is nothing like a birthday party held at Golden Isles Riding Academy. We throw the most amazing unforgettable parties, no birthday girl/boy will regret their one-of-a-kind party. From playing games, pin the tail on the real horse, Paint a horse, even riding. We would love for you to visit the barn and join our family. Hope to see you soon!!

Saturday Horse Show Recap✨

Our GIRA riders showed up at The Stables at Frederica Hunt Series Show ready to ride and they did not disappoint! We had riders competing in several different divisions, bringing home Grand Champions and Reserve Champions honors, along with a whole stack of beautiful ribbons throughout their rounds! 🏆🥇🥈

But more than the ribbons, we are so proud of the horsemanship, hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship these girls continue to show every time they step into the ring. Watching them put in the work, support one another, and grow as riders makes days like yesterday extra special. ❤️

Congratulations to all of our GIRA riders! We are SO proud of you! Keep riding, keep learning, and keep making us smile! 🐴✨

Friends 🐎❤️🐎

When horses groom one another, it’s more than just scratching an itch. Mutual grooming is one of the ways horses build trust, strengthen their social bonds, and show affection. You’ll often see close friends grooming each other around the withers, neck, and back — areas that can be hard for them to reach on their own.

Horses are incredibly social animals, and having a trusted companion can help them feel safe, relaxed, and secure. When you see two horses choosing to stand together, groom each other, and simply enjoy each other’s company, you’re seeing a genuine friendship. 🫶🏼

These two clearly have a special bond, and watching moments like this is one of the sweetest parts of barn life. 🥰

Sometimes the best friendships are the quiet ones — standing side by side, sharing a scratch, and just being together. 🐴💕

☀️ 🐜 Both horses have fly masks on. This does not affect their ability to see but does protect their face, nose and ears from little pests and the sun.

🎉🎂 When the Facebook reins get handed off, we get one very important job… making sure we celebrate our fearless leader, Kelli! 🎂🎉

(Yes, Kelli… you only get one official spotlight a year, so we’re making the most of it. 😉😂)

Today we’re celebrating the woman behind Golden Isles Riding Academy —the one who manages to keep things moving, solve problems before most of us even know there’s a problem, and make it all look way easier than it actually is.

Kelli, thank you for your dedication, your hard work, your patience, your humor, and for creating a place that feels like so much more than just a place to ride. GIRA is a family because of the heart you put into it every single day.

So today, we hope your birthday is filled with laughter, love, and a little time where nobody needs anything from you. (We know… that might be the biggest birthday wish of all. 😂)
