Glynn County Schools will return to in-person learning on Monday, Sept. 13 under the Yellow Level of operations (as indicated in our Return to School Framework). This decision was made at the Glynn County Board of Education's Work Session meeting on Thursday, Sept. 9.

In the Yellow Level, masks are required for students and adults inside of the school buildings and masks continue to be required on buses. Additional information will be shared with families on Friday, Sept. 10.

Drive-thru Meal Service will be available for all children ages 18 and younger from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8 at Altama Elementary, Brunswick High, Burroughs-Molette Elementary, Satilla Marsh Elementary, St. Simons Elementary and Sterling Elementary. Please note breakfast and lunch are offered at no cost for all students through the 2021-22 school year.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Distance Learning Meal Program today! Our School Nutrition staff served over 25,500 breakfast and lunch meals!

We will distribute meals again on Wednesday, September 8th. Stay tuned for more updates!

Due to anticipated effects of Tropical Storm Elsa, all Glynn County Schools student activities and summer programs will be closed on Wednesday, July 7. At this time, all district and school offices will remain open. More information will be provided later this afternoon.

Coastal residents should closely monitor media outlets for further updates regarding TS Elsa’s projected path and impacts and are urged to heed the advice of local emergency management officials.

If conditions allow, all Glynn County Schools activities will resume on Thursday, July 8.

Mrs. Robin Hunter was named as the Principal of Glynn Middle School in 2017. Mrs.Hunter will enter the 2021-22 school year with an new assignment as Principal of C.B. Greer Elementary School! Congratulations Mrs.Hunter

Dr. Carter Akins assumed the role of Principal at C.B Greer Elementary in July 2017 after moving from previous assignment as Principal atOglethorpe Pointe Elementary. Next year Dr.Akins will be moved to an new assignment as new Principal at Glynn Middle School. Congratulations Dr.Akins
