“For this fellowship, I go to farms to glean (harvest surplus produce for donation) three mornings per week. I love working with vegetables and being outside! I also love meeting so many amazing volunteers who are so dedicated to their work. Midcoast Hunger Prevention Program is a great place to be, and I’m so grateful to everyone here who has made my experience educational and fun!”

Maine Government- Lee Lockwood Fellow Bobin Park ‘28 and her supervisor Melanie Junkins, Multilingual and Bilingual Education Specialist at the Maine Department of Education, presented information about the Seal of Biliteracy at the MEA Conference in Portland on July 28.
