St. Ambrose FIAT Saint Ambrose fiat is the High School Youth Ministry Program at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church in Bru We meet every Sunday night throughout the school year.

Saint Ambrose fiat is the high school youth ministry program at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church in Brunswick. We gather as a community for 5pm Mass and head over to Hilkert Hall at 6pm for dinner and an evening of friendship and faith-building. FIAT is open to all high school students. 🙏 As a new school year begins, please join us in praying for all of our teens!

Pray that this year would be filled with new friendships, good opportunities, courage in the face of challenges, and moments where they recognize God walking alongside them. Pray especially for the students who are nervous about a new school, feeling overwhelmed, or wondering where they fit in. May they know that they are loved, supported, and never alone.

And as they head back into classrooms, sports, activities, and busy schedules, may they remember that they don't have to leave their faith at the door. God is with them in every hallway, classroom, conversation, and decision. Please keep our teens in your prayers throughout this first week—and throughout the entire school year. ❤️

Today we celebrate the feast of St. Maximilian Kolbe—a saint our teens had the chance to get to know during last winter’s Metanoia Retreat. ❤️‍🔥

Through his life, St. Maximilian showed us what it means to love with a love that costs something—to give of ourselves for the sake of others and to place our lives in God’s hands.

“Without sacrifice, there is no love.”

As we look back at these moments from Metanoia, we pray that the example of St. Maximilian continues to take root in the hearts of our teens and inspire them to choose love, generosity, and holiness in the everyday moments of their lives.

Summer has flown by! ☀️

As we get ready to wrap up another incredible summer, we're looking back at one of the moments that started it all—our High School Lock-In back in June.

What a night of laughter, games, prayer, late-night conversations, and making memories that will last far beyond the summer. We're so grateful for every teen who spent part of their summer growing in friendship and faith together.

As we celebrate the Memorial of Saints Martha, Mary, and Lazarus today, we're reminded of one of the most beautiful moments in Scripture: Mary choosing to simply sit at the feet of Jesus.

That's exactly what we experienced at Grotto XLT a few weeks ago.

In a world that constantly asks us to do more, be more, and go faster, Jesus continues to invite us to slow down, be with Him, and listen to His voice. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this beautiful evening of Eucharistic Adoration, worship, and prayer under the summer sky.

Like Martha, may we serve with love. Like Mary, may we never forget to spend time at the feet of Jesus. And like Lazarus, may our lives always point others to the power and love of Christ.

We look forward to praying with you again soon.

Rain? No problem. ☔❤️

A little rain couldn't stop an incredible weekend at the Steubenville Youth Conference! Our teens joined thousands of other young Catholics for a weekend centered on this year's theme: Worthy. Through inspiring speakers, powerful worship, the Sacraments, and authentic community, they were reminded that their worth comes from being deeply loved by God.

Some of our favorite memories came from the unexpected moments—including sprinting through a rainstorm! Those moments of laughter and joy became just another reminder that faith is lived together, in every season. Thank you for praying for our group -please continue to pray that what God began at the Conference will continue to bear fruit in their lives.

Join us this Sunday at 7PM as we gather outdoors for an evening of Eucharistic Adoration, live worship music from the XLT Band, and a Gospel reflection—all in the peaceful setting of our parish grotto. The forecast is looking perfect, making it an ideal evening to slow down, spend time with Jesus, and recharge for the week ahead.

Everyone is welcome—families, teens, young adults, and parishioners of all ages. Whether you've been to XLT before or this is your first time, we'd love to have you with us. And because fellowship is always sweeter with a treat... 🍦 we'll stick around afterward for ice cream!
