The Class of 2026 made it official yesterday! It was a wonderful ceremony! Congratulations to all our graduates—your hard work, perseverance, and memories will last a lifetime. Here’s to new adventures and bright futures ahead! Once a Terror, Always a Terror!

Today, the historic Glynn Academy Liberty Bell rang proudly in honor of four incredible retirees: Mr. Felton, Ms. Haywood, Ms. Griffin, and Ms. Jones. Thank you for your years of dedication, leadership, and impact on generations of Red Terrors. May the ringing of the bell celebrate not only your retirement, but the lasting legacy each of you leaves behind at Glynn Academy. Remember once a terror, always a terror❤️🔔

The historic Liberty Bell at Glynn Academy, originally cast in 1897 and restored to campus through the efforts of the 1968–1970 Student Councils and the Brunswick community, has now been brought back to life through the dedication of students, teachers, and local supporters once again. In 2025, Creighton Murray, working alongside Principal Mr. Blackstone, instructors Mr. Tapley and Mr. Surber, and fellow students Deveon Howard, Ashton Flanagan, Hunter Reach, and Garrison Strickland, designed and crafted a new clapper and ringing mechanism for the bell after decades of silence. Ms. AJ Murray (Social Studies teacher) and Ms. Alia Murray (administrative secretary) alongside Creighton (so three generations of our Glynn Academy school family together) rang the bell for the first time during the senior walk on Monday. The clapper is engraved as a “Gift from the Class of 2026,” The restoration ensures the bell will once again ring across Glynn Academy for graduations, victories, celebrations, and other special occasions for generations to come. Thank you to all the students, staff, and alumni who made this happen! It will be a gift that will be cherished for years to come.

And just like that… the school year comes to an end. Another great year in the books. We will see our seniors tonight at graduation and everyone else have a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved summer break! ☀️📚 See you next school year!
