All year the CIS Jr Board, chaired by Otto Igel, has been raising funds to bring an ice cream truck to the students of BME. They have worked tirelessly on First Fridays, FB ad campaigns, etc. They made it happen on Friday! Pictured below are Otto and some of our our awesome kids! Thank you CIS and to the Jr Board!

This week is always a special week for us here at BME! Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! Our teachers are awesome here at BME!!!!! They pour their hearts and souls into our students! Thank you for all of your hard work!!!! Also, Wednesday we celebrated School Nurse Day. We have the best! Thank you Nurse Young!

Don't forget!!! We will be hosting a Mother's Day Brunch this Friday from 11:45AM-1:00PM. See Mrs. Clark in the front office for more information.

Friday was School Lunch Hero Day! We LOVE our cafeteria staff! These ladies serve over 700 students breakfast, lunch, and snacks each and every day. They are simply the BEST! 😍 Thank you Ms Teresa, Ms Carla, Ms Deborah, Ms Kriss, Ms Barbara, Ms Juanita, Ms Brittany, Ms Rona, and Ms Joanna!

*GMAS Testing begins this week for 3rd and 5th! We will test on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please make sure these students get a good night's sleep and eat some breakfast!

*Our Spring Book Fair is this week!!! We take cash, card, or ewallet. To set up an ewallet for your student, create on on the book fair website below.

*Wednesday is Administrative Professionals' Day! We are so thankful to Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Allen for everything they do!!!
