This is what learning Spanish looks—and sounds—like at ELLA! 🗣️✨

Our Spanish students are practicing how to talk about likes and preferences—what they love, what interests them, what bores them, what bothers them, what makes them sad… and how to agree and disagree naturally, using expressions like “me too” and “me neither.”

The kind of things we actually talk about in everyday life. 💬

But we don’t just learn it. We practice it through real conversations.

A special thank you to our guest, Moises , for joining us and making our class even more interactive! Having someone new in the conversation gave our students another opportunity to ask questions, share their thoughts, agree, disagree, and use their Spanish for real. 🙌

Because learning a language isn’t about speaking perfectly. It’s about communicating...

On Friday August 7th we got to celebrate ELLA’s third anniversary with our students, teachers, volunteers, and friends community. It was a special day because we saw the support we received from everyone involved. One of our dear students, Susan wrote a beautiful piece in the Brunswick News recognizing our efforts to support the community with English and Spanish classes.
