After 15 years of leadership, Dr. Skip Mounts, the first dean of the College of Coastal Georgia's School of Business and Public Management, is retiring from his role - leaving behind a lasting legacy of growth, access, and academic excellence. π β¨
"There's something good and inherently honest about good work, and that's what this group of staff and faculty does," Dean Mounts said. "You can extend that to the whole college."

Coastal Georgia's Dr. Michael Butcher recently led a six-hour pre-conference session at the NASPA Annual Conference titled "AI Power User Skills for Student Affairs Innovators."
His workshop helped student affairs personnel move from theory to practice, exploring how AI can enhance student outreach, personalize communication, and strengthen campus support systems.
