BJH students took time to learn, reflect, and remember on Friday, September 11th. 🇺🇸 Our 6th graders explored the history and impact of September 11 and created class murals to honor those who were affected. Our 8th graders had the opportunity to hear from a guest speaker and learn through a personal perspective. We are grateful for these meaningful opportunities to remember, reflect, and learn together.

🏗️ Teamwork in action at BJH! Our 8th-grade students in Community Outreach took on the Tallest Straw Tower Challenge! Working together, students had to communicate, problem-solve, and get creative to build the tallest tower possible using a limited number of straws. A little competition + a lot of teamwork made for a great way to kick off the year! 💪

💙 Starting the year with connection! Our first week back at BJH kicked off our SEL BARR program, focused on building strong relationships and a sense of belonging. Over the next few weeks, advisors will interview each advisee, taking time to listen, connect, and get to know each student. We’re excited to make sure every student feels known, valued, and supported as we begin the school year!

HELP NEEDED! Our 6th graders on Team Bailey are preparing an exciting unit that will kick off with what we are calling the “Museum of the Millennial”!

To make this experience as authentic as possible, we are looking to borrow 90’s/early 2000's technology, memorabilia, and other items.

If you have items you’re willing to share/loan, we would greatly appreciate them. We hope to have all donations by MAY 22ND at the latest, so we have enough time to incorporate them into the museum experience. All items will be carefully returned to you after the unit ends.

All items can be brought to Michelle Russo or Logan Landry for inventory/collection. If you have any questions, please reach out to Michelle at [email protected] or Logan at [email protected].

Thank you for considering!

List of possible items(not an exhaustive list):

Windows 95/98 PCs or Macs (or keyboards/mic)
Floppy disks (3.5” and 5.25”)
Old monitors (CRT style)
